NSFK Badge for Motor Powered Aircraft Pilots.
This is the 2nd type of the badge, marked Ges. Gesch. 22639 on the reverse. In silvered ferrous/iron.
The badge was instituted in May 1939, by General Friedrich Christiansen. The NSFK (National Socialist Flyers Corps) was instituted in 1937 as a paramilitary organization of the Nazi Party focused on conducting aviation training in gliders and private airplanes.
The badge is extremely rare and I have not had one before. I can not say if this is an original issue badge but has all the characteristics of others listed on various websites so please study the photos.
